A — company’s modern prospect towards human communication with fashion and history

A—COMPANY with SS22 rethinking the archetypal link between the modern consumers to the collective sense of fashion to the ease of craftsmanship, collaborations and sustainable ethos. The designer Sara Lopez, established A—Company in 2018 in New York, a luxury clothing and accessories line that deconstructs modern dress from an intellectual and analytical approach.

An unmarked approach in NYFW, A—Company refined the idea of signature graphic-tee with the reference to its historical annotation of galvanizing biggest political movements with fusing the sustainability, gender and inequality forms to comfort and relaxed silhouettes for the collection. With the special consideration of fabrics chosen to the interrogation with the human body feel and movements- a holistic understanding of the larger identity of design and purpose.

Artist Grace Metzler hand-painted the handbags, underlining the sense of community and craftsmanship that surrounds A—Company. The creation of style rooted pieces with studio experimentation, research and listening to an eclectic soundtrack of nostalgic and contemporary alternative artists, including the show’s composer, Some Nerve (Kaya Wilkins), the spring collection carries on many of the core values and business practices A —Company worked within before the pandemic.“Every style should be exciting in its approach to construction, challenging to both me and my collaborators, and wearable in a novel way,” Sara Lopez Sara Lopez translated the essence of the brand ethos in the screen-printed graphic tee through which all proceeds from this tee will go to community-centred organizations, such as the Lilith Fund, Project Eats and Last Exit Kabul.
